Food Bank Appeal 2021
Every year we launch the #FoodBankAppeal, by asking all our tenants & landlords to go through their cupboards and donate any unwanted non-perishable items.
Last year, we were inspired by Marcus Rashford and donated to the Trussell Trust. This year, we chose to keep it going and donate to the same organization!
The Trussell Trust is working to stop UK hunger and poverty. Our network of foodbanks provides emergency food and support to people in crisis.
We want to branch out into the wider M20 community to offer as much as possible. Every day, people in the UK go hungry. Food banks offer a vital lifeline for these families during this difficult time. Families are having to choose between having enough food for their children, or turning the heating on the keep them warm.
As we all come together, we can really help, no matter how small a donation. Whether it be a few tins on your next food shop, or food that’s been forgotten in back of the cupboard. Anything helps!
Ideal will continue to keep this up each year, alongside other charitable events throughout all seasons. There are lots of ways to get involved with raising awareness of poverty and helping end UK hunger. With Ideal or independently, you can donate food, volunteer your time or take on an fundraising challenge.
